The book of Esther can appear to be like a strange fit with the Biblical narrative. This book does not mention God, does not seem to be concerned with following the Torah, and does not take place in or around the Promised Land. And yet, Esther teaches us valuable lessons about how God is at work even when we may not realize His presence.
