One day … God will set, as NT Wright loves to say, “the world to rights.” This passage speaks of that most glorious day! Interestingly, we actually know a bit about that day. Has that “day” been fully realized. No. But in the coming of Jesus, we have a foretaste of that day! It is in a sense both now and not yet.

This message unpacks the concept of finishing well as the year comes to an end and asks, How do you want to be remembered? When you started the race with Christ, you knew that somewhere out there was a finish line. What will your Departure, Legacy and Reward be.
Many of us who have placed faith in Christ, have sat back at some point and said “now what?” This week we look at the way we are called to spend our days from the moment we place faith in Christ until we are united with him in glory.

This week we will examine some of the details that preceded the first missionary journey of the early church. As we see the backgrounds of the people that sent out Barnabas and Saul and their devotion to seeking God’s direction, it speaks to how our church should look and act today.
