The Resurrection and the Life

Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life—the One who meets us in the middle of life’s hardest moments and gives us hope that death does not have the final word. When God’s timing doesn’t make sense, do you trust His plan and purpose, or do you find yourself becoming rattled? When life is hard, do you cling to Jesus, knowing that He understands what you are going through and is with you in the middle of your trouble? Because Jesus has defeated death, do you face the future with the confidence that death is not the end?

The God of Wanderers

In our passage this morning we see the Israelites wandering once again from God. The hard truth, however, is that everyone in some way or another has strayed or wandered from Him. But because of who He is and what He’s done, He is still God and He is still good! God is still God even when His people wander. But the idea is never that we continue to wander away from Him. 

Gospel Creativity

We believe creativity is a natural result of worship. The Gospel motivates us to creatively worship Jesus with all of our talents and artistry.  If you keep doing what you’ve been doing you will keep getting what you’ve been getting.  Creativity is mixture of gifting, intentionality, and fearlessness.  We must use and develop our gifts for the glory of God.
