Many of us who have placed faith in Christ, have sat back at some point and said “now what?” This week we look at the way we are called to spend our days from the moment we place faith in Christ until we are united with him in glory.
In this section of Philippians, we examine the way that Jesus demonstrated perfect humility, and how in doing so, He made a way for us to be reunited with God.
One important element of Christianity that we can easily forget is that we are not alone, and we were never designed to live out our faith alone. Paul reminds us of this in Philippians as he encourages Christians to strive together as one.
In this section of Philippians, Paul makes a bold statement about our source of life. We will look at how this was true for Paul and how it is true for us today.
The letter to Philippians is unique in comparison with many of the writings of Paul. As we begin to explore this letter, we will examine the background of his writing, and begin to look at the Gospel message that Paul was sending to this church, and to the church at large.
