We are transformed by Jesus to be his witnesses in the world.
We are transformed by Jesus to be his witnesses in the world.
(Luke 24:13-53)
God is a gracious father who longs to be in relationship with His children
Through prayer we have community with God and we are called to submission and dependence on God
As continues to Luke unpack the story of who Jesus is, he has given us greater glimpses of the power, grace, and love of Jesus. His writing calls us to live by faith believing that Jesus is who the Scriptures say he is. As we get into Luke 9:18-50, we see the disciples faced with a similar question, “Who do you say that I am?” This question leads them to consider who it is that they are really following and who it is that they truly worship?
Jesus is the sovereign Lord and having faith in Him means learning to trust Him in every aspect of life
Jesus has fulfilled God’s promise to send a Savior and King for the world. We can build our lives on all the promises of God that come through Jesus.
God reveals himself to all people in all different ways so that they might meet Jesus. We often tell the story of the Three Kings, or the Magi, as this side story to the coming of Christ. The deeper truth in this is that Jesus wasn’t only sent for the Jewish people, he was sent for all people. As we look deeper into the lives of the Magi, we come face to face with the Gospel truth that we are called to take the Gospel to places where it is not so that other might know Jesus.
We believe creativity is a natural result of worship. The Gospel motivates us to creatively worship Jesus with all of our talents and artistry. If you keep doing what you’ve been doing you will keep getting what you’ve been getting. Creativity is mixture of gifting, intentionality, and fearlessness. We must use and develop our gifts for the glory of God.
We believe we are here to have a cultural impact. The Gospel compels us to have hope, love others, and transform our town. We do not need an invitation to love. God is calling us to impact others where we are. We are here to have an impact, not to have a successful programs or activities.
