The foundation for all of our ministry is the premise that Discovering, Trusting and Sharing provide a very helpful pathway to keeping Jesus’ greatest commandments.
As we discover God’s great goodness we will also discover we can love Him because He loved us first. The beautiful surprise of following Jesus is learning that the more you discover how good God is, the easier it is to trust Him.
Trust is the foundation for love in every relationship and it is no different in our relationship with God. We won’t love God if we don’t trust God. This is not a one way street, however. God is the source of life and everything good. The real life that we desire deep in our hearts comes to us when we trust God.
Sharing God’s kindness is what makes our love for God and others grow. As we share God’s kindness with others, more of God’s kindness flows through us. In this we find the truth of Jesus’ words,
It is more blessed to give than receive.” – Acts 20:35
